HVAC Technician Training Program Prerequisites
To enroll in this course, students must have at least one year of hands-on experience in the field or have successfully completed the HVAC Associate Training from ImmerseLearn.
HVAC Technician Skills You’ll Gain in This Program
- Diagnose and replace fuses, breakers, contactors, transformers, thermostats, and relays
- Identify and replace faulty high/low pressure switches, sequencers, time-delay relays, motor starters, and circuit boards
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and precise refrigerant charging
- Install a mini-split heat pump system from start to finish
- Service hydronic components, including pressure relief valves, expansion tanks, and water pressure–reducing valves
